Created by Paul Theakston’s wife, Sue, way back in 1993, the Black Sheep Visitor Centre has become a bastion of the Dales. A must-stop to stop for a home-cooked meal, a brewery-fresh pint, or if short on time, a few bottles to take away.
Our ‘Baa…r’ is open 7 days a week from 11am, see our kitchen service hours for info on when we serve food (Wednesday-Sunday).

You won’t get fresher Black Sheep beers than right here at our Bar & Kitchen in the Visitor Centre.
Our classics are always available on cask in addition to regular seasonal beers, not to mention our keg wall featuring a variety of beers, ciders and craft beers.
Our trained staff are great at offering recommendations based on your preferences and will always find something for everyone.

If you can pull yourself away from the ‘Baa…r’, grab yourself a seat and enjoy some amazing home cooked food from our in-house kitchen. Our ever changing menu features many Yorkshire classics, all prepared with the best local ingredients by our talented chefs. On Sunday, we run a selection of roasts alongside our main menu!
