Earth Day and the Power of Fresh Dales Water

You’ve likely spotted the “Brewed with Fresh Dales Water” stamp on our bottles, cans, and cask clips. But what does it really mean?
Whilst many breweries use treated mains water, we’re proud to draw ours straight from the limestone aquifers beneath the stunning Yorkshire Dales. This natural source has been filtered over centuries, giving us beautifully pure brewing water with a higher level of sulphates. Those sulphates? They’re the unsung heroes that enhance those hoppy flavours and create that signature crisp, dry finish we all know and love.
No treatments. No shortcuts. Just fresh, pure water that gives our beer its authentic Dales character. It’s local, sustainable, rooted in nature and we wouldn’t have it any other way – after all, it’s about 96% of your pint!
